On Friday, February 26, From 4 to 6 PM, Boys & Girls Clubs of Manatee County will host a Zoom conversation with Tyrell Zimmerman, author of Carter: My Dream, My Reality.
Along with being an author, Zimmerman is also a former professional football player, Boys & Girls Club Alumnus and Youth of the Year recipient.
Mr. Zimmerman will share his book with Club members, and have a question & answer period around mental health. Mr. Zimmerman will also have special guests join him to share the importance of literacy, acceptance, self-love and mental health.
The event is Zoom only for non-Boys & Girls Club members and Palmetto Elementary School students and staff. The target audience includes students grades K – 6, parents and family members.
