Program Manager (DeSoto Club) – FT, salary. Under the direction of the Club Director, the Program Manager will provide program guidance, implementation strategies and ensure organization deliverables are met. Responsible for overseeing the delivery of a broad range of programs within a designated Club, such as Education, Special Education, Social Recreation, Arts & Crafts, and Physical Education. Plan, develop, oversee implementation, and supervise programs. The Program Manager will supervise program specialist staff. Some programs may have specific, rigorous management and tracking requirements, including, but not limited to: program implementation and delivery, daily attendance tracking, activity tracking by member, additional expense reconciliations, field trip coordination, specialty programs, reporting, and documentation etc.
Prevention Specialist (School Sites) – Under the supervision of the Prevention Outreach Manager, plans, coordinates, presents and evaluates the SMART programs at the club level. Implements, plans and performs the duties of the SMART program, (GPIA) Gang Prevention Initiative Awareness, and (JJIS) Juvenile Justice Intake System and travels to all Boys & Girls Clubs of Manatee County School Sites.
Volunteer Coordinator – FT, hourly. Responsible for the overall management of the volunteer program. Recruits, trains, coordinates, and monitors the work of volunteers ensuring ample coverage to meet program needs; prepares records and reports regarding the same; manages the day-to-day scheduling of the volunteer(s), volunteer group(s), schedules guest speakers, and conducts tours and orientations. Volunteers include, but are not limited to, alumni, board members, general and special event volunteers.
Teaching Kitchen Manager – Tier 1 – The Teaching Kitchen Manager will provide a high-quality BGCA Healthy Habits program, teaching youth about healthy eating and help young people develop skills, confidence and motivation to make nutrition choices that support an overall healthy lifestyle. Additionally, the Teaching Kitchen Manager will be responsible for equipment procurement and assuring routine maintenance is done on all equipment.
Teen Program Specialist (DeSoto Club) – The Program Specialist plans, implements, supervises and evaluates activities provided within a specific program area working with young people ages 12-18, such as Sports & Fitness, Fine Arts, and/or Social Recreation.
Bus Driver SIGN-ON BONUS – Under the direct supervision of the Transportation Supervisor, the Bus Driver is responsible for the operation of vans and small and large buses, in transporting children from school to the Clubs, and driving on designated field trips. This position is Part-Time. Guaranteed 15 hours per work week; starts at $14.00 per hour and some transportation of students may include weekends.
