Human Resource Director – Full Time (Salary Range: $61K – $75K) – Manage and administer the Boys & Girls Clubs of Manatee County’s human resources functions, including recruitment, compensation, benefits, safety, employee relations, performance management and Staff Development. Provide advice and counsel to management in the development and implementation of policies and practices that comply with all applicable regulations and are consistent the Boys & Girls Club’s mission and values.
Club Director (DeSoto Club) – Full Time (Salary Range: $45K – $54K) – Directs/manages overall daily operations of the designated Club with the primary concern for programs and service delivery, supervision and training of staff, facilities management, community relations and membership administration.
Key areas of responsibility are ensuring positive member impact, Club operations and regard for BGCMC by managing outstanding program and service delivery; positive Club climate; supervision and training of staff; member development; community relations and outreach; and facilities management, including safety and security.
Prevention Specialist – Part Time – Under the supervision of the Prevention/Intervention Program Manager, plans, coordinates, presents and evaluates the SMART programs at the Club level. Implements, plans and performs the duties of the SMART program, (GPIA) Gang Prevention Initiative Awareness, and (JJIS) Juvenile Justice Intake System.
Digital Media Instructor – Part Time – The Digital Media Instructor will oversee the operations of the recording studio in our two traditional Club sites. Requires a passion for music and a working knowledge of common recording studio practices and techniques. This role works with both technical and non-technical Club members and requires the flexibility to fill various studio roles from audio engineer to producer to educator. This position will work in collaboration with staff, volunteers and Club members to create a fun and engaging studio experience.
Education Liaison (DeSoto Club) – Part Time – Certified Teacher – Responsible for fostering the academic achievement of Club members within the framework of the organization’s mission and goals. Academic assistance will include, but not be limited to tutoring, homework assistance, educational games, and other small group activities and special interest clubs relative to academic achievement.
Program Specialist (DeSoto Club) – Part Time – The Program Specialist plans, implements, supervises and evaluates activities provided within a specific program area, such as Sports & Fitness, Fine Arts, and/or Social Recreation.
Teen Program Specialist (DeSoto Club) – Part Time – The Teen Program Specialist plans, implements, supervises and evaluates activities provided within a specific program area working with young people ages 12-18, such as Sports & Fitness, Fine Arts, and/or Social Recreation.
Education Liaison (Palmetto Club) – Part Time – Certified Teacher – Responsible for fostering the academic achievement of Club members within the framework of the organization’s mission and goals. Academic assistance will include, but not be limited to tutoring, homework assistance, educational games, and other small group activities and special interest clubs relative to academic achievement.

Education Liaison (Rogers Garden Elementary Club) – Part Time – Certified Teacher – Responsible for fostering the academic achievement of Club members within the framework of the organization’s mission and goals. Academic assistance will include, but not be limited to tutoring, homework assistance, educational games, and other small group activities and special interest clubs relative to academic achievement.
Program Specialist (Rogers Garden Elementary Club) – Part Time – The Program Specialist plans, implements, supervises and evaluates activities provided within a specific program area, such as Sports & Fitness, Fine Arts, and/or Social Recreation.
Bus Driver – Part Time – Under the direct supervision of the Transportation Supervisor, the Bus Driver is responsible for the operation of vans and small and large buses, in transporting children from school to the Clubs, and driving on designated field trips.
Van Driver – Part Time – Under the direct supervision of the Transportation Dispatcher, the Van Driver is responsible for the operation of vans in transporting children from school to the Clubs and driving on designated field trips. A passenger van does not require the operator to possess a School Bus Driver Certificate or Commercial Driver’s License.
